Royal Icing
Help!!!!!! I need a royal icing recipe that is thick enough.......so many of my recipes make an icing that is too thin. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just keep adding powdered sugar to one of those too-thin recipes and it will thicken right up. Also, be sure that you're beating long-long-long enough. A stand mixer is best. Underbeaten royal icing is runny.
