Black rice dressing ideas?

I've got my self a big bag of black rice. I've never cooked with it before, but have tasted it in cooked form. It seems like one could cook it similar to a white rice like jasmine or basmati. I want to use it to make a dressing to accompany the Thanksgiving turkey. Any interesting ideas?
On another note, has anyone tried making a black rice pudding?
what type of black rice is it? The only reason I asked is there are several varieties out there. You have the South East Asian black rice, wild black rice, and the Korean black rice just to name a few.
The South East Asian and Korean black rice are more on the starchy end. Where it's almost a sticky rice texture.
