Guava Ice Cream

I've recently come into a boatload of guavas and I was thinking of making some ice cream. I'm going to make it using my basic recipe:

1 cup guava (probably blendend then strained)
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Milk (probably 2% since it's in my fridge)
2 Cups Heavy Cream

Anyone have ideas on the best way to get the guava juice or if I should add anything to mellow the flavor a little?

Thanks
BM

That sounds good to me-I love guava with cream (or cheese). Maybe add a pinch of salt?

I bet guava sorbet would be delicious too. Hmm...with a scoop of adamclyde's lemon creme fraiche ice cream next to it.

Infuse your milk and cream with guava puree and then strain your dairy.
