Substituting applesauce for apples?
I want to make a noodle kugel which includes grated apples as an ingredient.Can I substitute applesauce for the apples without compromising the recipe? I don't care if it's not crunchy, I assume the noodles will be crunchy enough. Also, if I can substitute the applesauce, what amount of applesauce would be the equivalent to one apple?
