Got one from the CSA today. Actually, i haven't even seen it yet, but was called by my farm share-sharer. Any ideas? Do you use such a pumpkin like you would any other?
Thanks!

Cheese pumpkins are called that because they resemble a wide, squat wheel of cheese. They are more tan than orange but the flesh is dense, orange and delicious. Yes, use it like any other pumpkin or winter squash.

would you say that a cheese pumpkin is good for making pupmkin raviolis? This could be a really silly question but I'm I'm about to make then in about an hour or two.
