Got one from the CSA today. Actually, i haven't even seen it yet, but was called by my farm share-sharer. Any ideas? Do you use such a pumpkin like you would any other?Thanks!
Cheese pumpkins are called that because they resemble a wide, squat wheel of cheese. They are more tan than orange but the flesh is dense, orange and delicious. Yes, use it like any other pumpkin or winter squash.
