mac n' cheese (Drunken Goat Style)

I just had drunken goat mac n' cheese at the Blue Plate in San Francisco's Mission District. Anyone else had it? More importantly, anyone have a homemade mac n' cheese recipe that would suit this kind of cheese????

  1. Any homemade mac and cheese recipe would work with drunken goat I think -- we make a bechemal sauce and add the shredded cheese. [Not familiar with that restaurant's version, I'm in the east.]

    OR really take the short cut and make Annie's shells and cheese and add variety cheese (drunken goat, or parmasean or whatever) and fresh herbs (basil is great) and black pepper.

        very soupy looking finished dish! am I the only one who makes a drier Mac N Cheese?

          There is definitely something off with that recipe - 14 cups of liquid to one pound of pasta just can't be right, even if it is soupy in the end!
