Pata Negra

A friend brought us a vacuum pack of pata negra back from Spain. Any serving suggestions - or just open and enjoy?

  1. Assuming you are talking about jamón ibérico de bellota, then yes, just open it up and savor it. It's too good to combine with anything else. If it isn't precut, take it to a shop where they can cut it by hand, not machine.

    I think the best liquid accompaniment is a fino sherry.

      yes - that's it - pre-sliced - thank you - ended up having pork roast for dinner so am now saving for tomorrow night - don't want to have too much pig in one evening!
