Rose buttercream recipe needed

Does anyone have a recipe for rose-flavored buttercream? I wasn't sure whether or not to use rose water, rose extract, or rose syrup...nor how much to use. I don't want the flavor to overwhelm the cake, but to be pronounced while letting the flavors of the fruits in the filling (lychee and raspberry) come through.

All help will be greatly appreciated.

    Haven't tried it, but the photo is beautiful - see the epicurious recipe below for Persian Love Cake. The frosting uses rose water.
