My boyfriend is from the UK and and really loves Jaffa cakes. the problem is we are in South Africa and don't get them here.  I can figure most of it out but could some one please tell me how to make the really nice orange stuff?

      <content>The one time I tried to recreate these, I found that Robertson's Orange marmalade was the closest
 
The nicer marmalades are not sufficiently, er chemically
 
here is a recipe I found if you want to try and make it from scratch
 
BTW - if you do make them or procure them, try using some soaked in Oloroso sherry for the base of a trifle.  Really very nice indeed
