Toaster ovens revisited

  • s

Well, I ended up buying the cuisinart. Not the super delux model but the regular model ($65 on sale thru cuisinart web site) Looks nice, nice sounding ready alarm but the toast takes too damn long to cook. Oh well.

  1. Please keep us posted. I'll be ready to toss my latest toaster oven before long and want a decent replacement...especially one whose door will ALWAYS close properly.

Same here. I thought about the Cuisinart toaster oven but am not sure if it's worth the price. Cuisinart makes some great stuff (I love my griddler!) but also some lousy ones (blender/mini processor combo-blender can't really crush ice; processor struggled with pesto).

I must have gotten a good one. On the Food Processor setting it crushes ice like nothing. Blender settings are more for milk shakes and smoothies. Not too powerful.
