There was a Krisy Kreme thread on another board that got me thinking about making doughnuts. I'm looking for a recipe for your basic yeast raised (risen?) doughnut like the glazed doughnuts you find in any shop. Every time I think I've found the right recipe it turns out to be a cake doughnut and not the light, airy ones I want to make; some of these recipes have even contained yeast.
Does anyone have a good recipe or can you direct me to one? Thaks in advance.
