Known for their meat and fish dinners BUT if you call ahead perhaps they can do something for you. The only other noteworthy restaurant was Catahoula in the Mountain View Spa and Hotel but it was just sold. The Coffee Roasters in town is pretty good and the Palisades Market has a nice deli/prepared salad counter. Try Terra in St. Helena or perhaps La Toque in Rutherford for your elegant dinner. I enjoy the range of their menu, especially those items with Latino influences. One caveat in terms of atmosphere: I've always sat outdoors in their lovely garden, I have no idea what the inside is like.
