Sullivan Street pizza recipes
I have not had the pizza in years as I no longer live in Manhattan. however, the other evening I made a similar pizza where I sauteed a melange of mushrooms in olive oil with some salt and pepper. Mushrooms were shiitake, maitake and shimeji (yes, I live in Tokyo now).
Then layered the mushrooms over a focaccia and garnished with a bit of Gruyere cheese and Maldon salt and baked in the oven to melt the cheese. Quite a hit.
A couple of years ago, Martha Stewart had the owner of the Sullivan Street Bakery on her show and he prepared one of their thin crust pizzas.It may have been the potato pizza, which I have eaten at the Bakery and is yummy. I would try her website. I think you will find it there.
