dried out chicken

does my dried out chicken have any hope?

  1. Chicken jerky, perhaps?

    Minced, cream (or chicken fat?) added and turned into a spread?

    Cut into small pieces (but not quite minced), mayo'd & herbed, and made into a salad?

    What is its current condition, besides desiccated?

      basically it was a roasted chix bought from a supermkt, apparently it was dry. So I was wondering instead of throwing it out, if anything can be done with it. Still whole without the legs/thighs/wings.

        I would probably make stock. Throw the carcass into a big pot with a couple of carrots, some herbs, a bay leaf or a knob of ginger, some shallots or an onion, etc., and simmer it until the meat's falling off the bone. Then fish out the bones and stuff, strain it, cool it, and use it as you will.

        Alternately, you could pull off the breast meat beforehand and tear it into chunks, make a soup/stew and add the breast meat near the end.

          Definately make stock but don't waste the meat after simmereing it for stock it is perfect for enchiladas.
