This "Recipe" is Bizarre...but Intriguing...
I've done a similar recipe with a salami & apricot preserves with the mustard. I, too, was intrigued by the ingreds & by the comments of the ones who'd done it before. However, I was not all that thrilled with the outcome. Perhaps Emeril's recipe will turn out better than mine.
A couple of years ago, we were driving across country in Canada. There was this great segment on CBC radio of people calling in their favorite bologna recipes and their favorite bologna memories.
Oh my goodness, it was very funny and didn't sound at all tasty (except the fried bologna recipes, that's just gotta be good!)
BTW, in the supermarkets in the western and central parts of Canada, the grocery stores had an absolutely amazing selection of bologna -- whole bologna "roasts", sliced bologna, chunks, etc. So many different brands, I just had no idea!
