Favorite jam, preserves, fruit butter recipes?

i don't have proportions - just to taste:
about 3 ripe pears (peeled, cored, and chunked up)
maybe a spoon of fresh ginger
a few spoons of sugar and/or honey
a few spoons of lemon juice
whoozh it all up in a food processor.
it's really tasty! i always end up eating quite a bit of it straight =)
I have no idea how to do links, but let's see if that works. I posted two recipes for favorite preserves there.
I also make every year the peach/rum/brown sugar jam recipe from Helen Witty, which is fantastic. This is my most requested jam. I can post a paraphrase if you would like it.
