That's sort of an open-ended question. Any place better in Berkeley? The East Bay? The Bay Area? Northern California? Etc.

Better in what sense? Food? Atmosphere? Price? Etc.

Cafe Cacao hasn't even opened yet, so it's hard to render an opinion. The menu on the website for the special V-Day dinner looks really rich to me, but maybe that appeals to you.

This may not help you much but I'm in NYC, never been to San Francisco, and I sure wish I could go to Cafe Cacao. I love S.B. chocolate.

You know, I'm in NYC too, and with this incredibly sucky weather....Jet Blue's having wild fares right now, $79 each way! Just think--you could be in SF for just $175 roundtrip next weekend, tucking into a cup of Scharffenberger hot chocolate! Speaking from experience, the chocolate factory tour is totally cool and full of wacky Willy Wonka-ish machines, and the whole place smells like a giant brownie. I'm going out in SF next week, and I can't wait to check out Cafe Cacao.
