Ok, the cupcake thread on the General Topics board has me thinking about baking cupcakes. What I'm looking for are recipes for cupcakes that are moist and aren't too sweet (I'd like for chocolate, or vanilla, or some flavor other than sugar to be the dominant flavor). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Ina Garten's Coconut Cupcakes. You cannot find it on the food network site, but can find it on the Martha Stewart Recipe site. It calls for a lot of eggs and stuff, but boy these cupcakes are the bomb! That means they're great. I made them today to take to a friend's for dinner. She had just gotten out of the hospital (eye surgery) and needed something special. She went nuts over these. The icing is dee-lish!

I agree! These are my favorite cupcakes and are fantastic!!

I also enjoy her banana coconut cupcakes from her first cookbook - my husband found them fantastic and he is a non-bread eater!
