Julia Child/Marchella Hazan veal question

Has anyone cooked either Julia Child's Veau Sylvie or Marcella Hazan's roasted veal with pancetta and herbs? Both looke like good Easter dinner candidates, but I know the Julia recipe is far more complicated, and am wondering if it's worth it.

Thanks for any experience with either recipe you can share.

  1. I have not used this particular recipe from Julia Child, but I do know that though her recipes sometimes seem complicated, they really work. That is not to say hat Marcella Hazan's do not -- I just don't have as much experience with hers.
