Mrs. Smiths Muffins

Mrs. Smith, I am distressed that you may not have seen my late muffin entry below or have decided not to consider it and will reward krissywatts for her inferior, though i'm sure still very good muffins, with an undeserved victory. (it's actually not my recipe but it's good)

Sorry, but my daughter's going to win this pageant no matter..., i mean my muffins are going to win this contest no matter what and if you have to go down you have to go down, sister. (though i'm sure your muffins are very tasty.)

You may continuing the bickering amongst yourselves, ladies (and I do use that term loosely!), as my cranberry apple muffins rise above the fray!

            muffins of uncertain parentage! harumph!
(melted butter in for oil will make them scrummier)

        Dear Sweeties,

I do appreciate the late entry, but I will have to defer this good-looking orange-coconut muffin recipe until the next Muffin Challenge (II). Muffin baking in the Muffin Challenge I has begun, stay tuned for details on the first entries!

(I've bookmarked the recipe -- not so sure about the canned oranges, but a good coffee shop downtowns sells a pretty good mandarin orange muffin, so this recipe may be good. I'll definitely keep this one -- thanks for the tip.)
