Does anyone have a red velvet cake recipe?

If you do a search on the board, you'll find that this topic has been discussed several times. Or go on over to epicurious.com, which is the recipe that I usually use.

While I haven't made it, I've flagged the linked recipe to try. It comes from the Buttercup Bake Shop Cookbook by Jennifer Apel. Anyone here tried it?

I tried the one that was linked recently that was said to be the original recipe created by a hotel somewhere. We didn't like it as much as the one I have always used that I got from a southern/soul food cook book. That recipe looks like the one you just posted, except that it uses a cream cheese frosting which my kids like. We are going to try the red velvet cake with GREEN food coloring instead of red for St. Patrick's Day.

I've eaten it from Buttercup (it's near my office) and it was very good although it's the only red velvet I've ever tried. But I've yet to make it.
