I was going to make meatballs but i have no eggs

  1. Good heavens, yes - I never use eggs in meatballs or meat loaf. They hold together just fine.

    Maybe if you're making itty bitty ones you'd have a problem, but average-size ones should be no trouble.

    1. Lightly soak sm.diced fresh bread with (whole)milk and incorporate well

      1. Use shredded mozzerella cheese along with bread crumbs, tomato paste and milk as a binder.

        1. when I forgot to add eggs once, it sort of fell apart, not complete, but definitly not round.

          but in chinese meat balls (lion head etc.) it doesn't call for eggs. Instead, the meat is mixed until it's really sticky and then it hold itself together...but it might not be a good idea for American meatballs :)

          1. i never use eggs in my meatballs. A hamburger patty stays together just fine without eggs, why would a meatball be much different?
