wild boar knuckle

I have ordered a small wild boar knuckle roast from D'Artagnan & would appreciate suggestions for preparing. I am a little worried about drying it out. Any thoughts about wrapping in bacon? I am assuming a jam or chutney would be the right accompaniment but welcome other ideas.
