crock pot cooking

East Point Cook Feb 16, 2005 08:53 AM

I received a new crock pot for Christmas and am breaking it in tomorrow for a dinner party. I will be at work all day and need the food to be ready when I get home.
I can't remember the exact size of it but it's pretty big.

What's an easy/delicious recipe I can throw in there tomorrow morning?

You might want to do a seach on this site as this has come up before, so there should be some good stuff for you.

My suggestions would be beef stew, served with a salad and some crusty bread from a bakery. Or lamb stew?

If you want something different, I really liked the Carolina Barbeque Pork recipe from the crockpot.com site. It was very easy and if you like a vinegar style bbq, absolutely delicious, for a more casual crowd.
