chicken livers - frozen at different times..
So each week, I roast 2 or 3 chickens. When I do so, I toss out the livers, even though we enjoy them. I figure, three livers, what am i going to do with three livers.
BUT, could i wash+dry them and add them to a bag of frozen livers? then by the end of the month, I would have 12 or so.
They'ld have all been frozen at different times. any thoughts?
Don't see a problem with that...I do it with stuff for making stock all the time. It's not like you will be keeping them for years or anything. Just get a good heavy duty baggie and start tossing them in...worst thing that can happen is that you thaw them out and find they look wierd and toss them...no big deal. I think they will be fine tho.
