chicken livers - frozen at different times..

So each week, I roast 2 or 3 chickens. When I do so, I toss out the livers, even though we enjoy them. I figure, three livers, what am i going to do with three livers.
BUT, could i wash+dry them and add them to a bag of frozen livers? then by the end of the month, I would have 12 or so.
They'ld have all been frozen at different times. any thoughts?
Don't see a problem with that...I do it with stuff for making stock all the time. It's not like you will be keeping them for years or anything. Just get a good heavy duty baggie and start tossing them in...worst thing that can happen is that you thaw them out and find they look wierd and toss them...no big deal. I think they will be fine tho.
I've done this many times, and the livers were fine. You are talking about a timespan of no more than a month or two, which shouldn't compromise the quality of the livers. And it will be nice to feel proud of your frugal forethought when you take them out and cook them.
