Just wanted to report that I made Galleygirl's brownies for my Super Bowl guests last night. They were delicious! A big hit!
I used Scharffen Berger chocolate instead of Hershey's. I made 2 batches (I didn't double the recipe--I made them separately), one with nuts and one without. I baked them for 60 minutes, but this seemed to be a little too much in my oven. The edges were a little too well done, so next time I would probably do 45-50 minutes.
I had a lot of leftovers (2 batches of brownies, plus cupcakes and cookies for only 7 people!), so I stuck some in my freezer and brought the rest into my office today. Co-workers devoured them!
