Champagne and cranberry!
Discovered at New Year's Day brunch when the orange juice ran out: champagne (or whatever bubbly) and white cranberry juice - about 1/3 cranberry, 2/3 bubbly. Seamlessly delicious. Just had to share.
Yes, that combo is wonderful!
I've also mixed prosecco with a bit of pomegranate juice (POM). Beautiful color. You don't want to put in too much of the pomegranate juice, as it can be overpowering.
Prosecco with a touch of umeshu (plum wine) is lovely, too.
I had a cranberry dessert wine from the Finger Lakes that I broke out for the holidays. It was great with Champagne as well as in Cosmopolitans. I also made a blackberry and rosemary syrup, which was great with prosecco and with vodka.
