New Year's Eve Buffet
Last year I had 14 people for New Year's Eve and served the following:
Beef Tenderloin with Mushroom Sauce
Julia Child's Braised Salmon
Roasted White and Red Creamer Potatoes
Spinach with garlic and olive oil
Cherry Tomato Gratin
Chocolate Mousse Cake
My kitchen is small with one oven and no access to an outdoor grill. I may have as many as 20. Any ideas??
Do yourself a favor and don't cook anything. Go to a local deli and pick up rare roast beef that is thinly sliced, sliced smoked turkey, potato salad, cole slaw, Kaiser rolls, sliced provolone, peperoncini, marinated artichoke hearts, an assortment of olives,and whatever condiments you can think of to spread on the rolls to make sandwiches. I assume that the primary reason your guests are there is for the company of each other, and eating is secondary.
