Organizational tips for holiday cooking

Thought I'd share two of mine in hopes of getting some other ideas. I photocopy the recipes I'm going to use and tape them to my kitchen cupboards with masking tape - this way I don't have to rifle through various magazines & cookbooks to find what I need. I also do a time table working back from serving time, so that I have an idea of what needs to be done when.

    One of my favorites is that I hang an empty plastic grocery bag on the knob of one of my upper cupboards so I have a trash receptacle right in the prep area. Saves lots of steps!
