My citrus trumpet is my new favorite kitchen gadget, joining the pantheon of microplane graters and silicone spatulas. This thing is stainless steel, with one end flared like a trumpet, the other hollow and threaded. You screw the threaded end into the fruit, squeeze the fruit, and out comes juice, sans seeds. You squeeze out as much as you want (perfect for the recipe calling for a teaspoon of lemon juice, or a splash of lime in your cocktail), and you're left with a basically intact fruit, which you can pop in a ziplock bag (with trumpet still in it) and throw in the fridge until you need another squirt of juice. I left a lemon in the fridge with the trumpet in it for almost a week before using the remaining juice, and it was fine. No need to cut the fruit (so no drying out of stored leftover slices), only one little tool gets dirty, and there's no waste. I love it.
