Swedish Meatballs

Thanks for all the info on the lutefisk. Swedish meatballs sound like a nice alternative for the less daring at the table. Does anyone have a good family recipe?

  1. There was a great recipe on one of these boards a few months ago. I think I saved it on my home computer. I will look and post it. If not, maybe someone else remembers.

    2. I had a Swedish roommate who was at a loss when folks asked her about Swedish meatballs. I assume this is more an American concept (like spagetti and meatballs) than a Swedish one.

      However, the Germans have a dish, called Konigsberger Klopse, which is wonderful. It is meatballs in a sauce containing lemons and capers and is a big favorite in cafes and lunchrooms.
