I'm looking for a toaster oven that has enough power to reheat food, while also being a decently fast toaster. I'd prefer to spend ~$35 but if someone is in love with something that is more like $60 I can be convinced.

thanks!

  1. I was going to ask for toaster oven recs too because my Black & Decker seems to be dying. It was probably in the $35 range when I bought it and is only barely adequate for making toast.

    1. I'm a big fan of the Krups line of toaster ovens. We got one for our wedding from Crate & Barrel that was around $100 about 4 yrs. ago. They do have some low-end ones that, on sale, might be around $50-$60.

It's totally worth paying a little more for something that will last for a long time. We've had ours for over 4 yrs., have had NO problems, and don't foresee having any problems soon. I use it nearly everyday. It toasts bread very evenly on both sides, but I really love it for toasting nuts, baking a couple of fish filets, reheating pizza; it even fits a modest-sized meatloaf. Easy clean up and looks sharp too.

Check out their spiffy website linked below.
