Microwave buying advice

My old microwave has been slowly but surely dying and now it is taking over 3 minutes to boil a small cup of water.
I'm looking to a buy a new microwave and want to get something more powerful while still on the smallish side.
Can anyone recommend a good microwave that is reasonably priced, powerful enough for usual re-heating and occasional cooking tasks, and small enough (15" by 21" at most).

So far I like how Sharp stainless steel ones look (and they have one small enough), does anyone have any experience with them?

  1. I have had my sharpe with a carousel going on 14 years now and it's still running strong. Hope that helps you!
