Recipe for Lucille's BBQ Biscuits

Anyone out there have a recipe for the biscuits they serve at Lucille's BBQ in Los Angeles area? My husband is addicted to them and must have at least 6 biscuits before we even eat dinner.

I'd like to make the biscuits for him the next time he fires up our smoker.

Thanks so much!!

So sorry I don't have the recipe however, someone who works at Lucilles told me they were just normal biscuits however, when you take them out of the oven they just sprinkle sugar on top!
    ~Hopes this helps!
    Love them as well enjoy!

If Lucille's BBQ Biscuits are more bready and fluffy than flaky, check out "Touch of Grace Biscuits" recipe from Shirley Corriher.

Also, take a look at the book "Southern Biscuits" by Nathalie Dupree and Cynthia Graubart.

I just noticed this thread is started in 2004. Those are some old biscuits. ;-)
