  1. I am a HUGE fan of Kazansky's Deli, 2201 Murray Ave in Squirrel Hill. There is also a nice grocery store across from the Giant Eagle on Murray that has an excellent selection of Kosher items (and that particular Giant Eagle is no slouch in the Kosher dept. either). There's also the Smallman St. Deli at 1912 Murray Ave, but I'm not sure it is strictly kosher. Hope this helps!

    1. has something changed BIGTIME since I lived there? Kazansky's was NOT even CLOSE to kosher. It was "jewish style" and not something I would take a client to (I frequented the place back when it was Rhoda's before I kept kosher)

Used to be Platters was nice. I think it was sold and changed names?? Sari's still around on Murray Ave? Milky way is really informal but ok for lunch.

      1. just checked out kazansky's web site - DEFINITELY not kosher -
