Prime Grill for high end, and Le Marais for more everyday (but still not cheap!), imo.

La Carne and Park East are also good choices, but not as good.

I concur Prime Grill is top in my opinion - but you will not be dissapointed at Le Marais or Park Grill - still have to make it over to La Carne but feedback seems to be excellent

i just visiting La Carne for the first time this week. i ordered the hangar steak, no sides or appetizers. the steak was practically inedible. it was so salty, it was as if lot's wife was cooked right into the meat. and the flavor was awful. the meat was accompanied by a huge mound of fried onions (ala prime grill), but they did not taste fresh. the service was good. if i were to return, i'd probably sample the sushi or cooked fish, or just stick to prime grill. la carne was very disappointing.

Hangar steak is by definition salty, but it sounds like it was unacceptable, regardless.

I am a big fan of Le Marie, but last time I was there, they were out of some of the appitizers (but what I got instead was good, but not what my wife wanted).

Stay away from Wolf & Lamb if you want top notch food, good for a business lunch, or a quick bite, but not on par with the other steak houses.
