I was wondering what your favorite home made hot chocolate recipe was?

Would you like to share it with us?

Thanks

just a suggestion but you might get more a varied response on the general board, as this does not specifically relate to kosher.

Given that, i personally like to make mexican style hot chocolate at home. The cinammon and coffee included give it a nice twist:

1 ounce unsweetened or bittersweet chocolate
2 tbs instant coffee
1/8 c sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 c water
2 c milk
whipped cream
cinnamon sticks for stirring

Combine the chocolate, sugar, coffee, cinnamon, and water in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted. Heat until just boiling: reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring constantly for a few minutes.
Stir in milk, don't boil. Remove from heat and whip chocolate mixture with a wire whisk until foamy.
Pour into mugs, top with the whipped cream and place cinnamon stick
in cups
