Hi, I have always been confused about this, and if anyone can un-confuse me, I'd be grateful:

since poultry do not feed their young with milk, can poultry be eaten with dairy products?

Thanks much.

  1. Poultry is a meat product

    1. rabbis included poultry and other meats under the umbrella of the cow/calf paradigm because one can accidentally eat one thinking it's the other. not so likely with fish which is parve or neutral and CAN be eaten with dairy under jewish dietary laws.
