Kosher caterers

My son is having a bar mitzvah in Northern New Jersey in about 8 months. Does anyone have catering recommendations and ideas about prices. Our temple is small, what kind of places other than catering halls have people used for a reception in summer.

      Dowry Catering.... number is 973-438-4800.

They are better than main event... and are slowly moving towards competing with Foremost.... They have foremost quality with better prices. they are truly excellent.

Please, can anyone tell me where I can find a genuine Kosher Deli in Knoxville, Tennessee or somewhere it could be ordered. We love Kosher Corned Beef and Pastrami. Thanks, Tom

I used Simply Divine and was really happy with them. When I spoke to Foremost it was just like talking to salesmen who weren't really into food, although I've had the food and it's fine. But when I spoke to the woman from Simply Divine I knew I was talking to someone who truly loves food. I thought it was all beautiful, and not your standard wedding fare.

Foremost, based in New Jersey (northern, I think), is by far the best Kosher caterer in New York. Even non Kosher people who ate the food at my wedding said how incredible it was. That being said, I believe that are also one of the priciest caterers. But fully worth it.

A friend used Foremost and served their guests a choice of lamb chops or roast beef for their main course.
