searching for a few great kosher restaurants in LA...

Can someone kindly advise of a few good spots? Perhaps in the Pico/Farifax area or closer to Hollywood?
My siter and brother-in-law are visiting this week, both strict kosher, and I'd love to wow them with a few great spots.
Chinese...Sushi...Tai...whatever works, I'd like to get a nice mix of suggestions here.
Thanks in advance for any tips!
When I was there a few weeks ago, I went out with some
friends to La Gondola, and we had a great meal; a bit
pricey, but nothing outrageous. It's an Italian meat
restaurant, at 6405 Wilshire Blvd, 323-852-1915.
If you go there, try the sizzling portobello mushrooms.
Also, on previous visits I've had good experiences at
the Fish Grill (7226 Beverly Blvd, 323-937-7162),
and at Beverly Hills Cuisine (9025 Wilshire Blvd,
310-247-1239), whose name sounds like it's a caterer's
factory, but is in fact a restaurant serving Persian
and Chinese food (perhaps a Silk Road connection?)
I also had a very nice meal a few years ago at Nessim
(8939 W. Pico Blvd, 310-859-9429), but on my latest
visit, when I suggested going there again, I was told
by my friends that it was under new management and
it wasn't any good anymore (in their opinion, of course).
Magic Carpet 8566 w. Pico at La Cienega. 310-652-8507.
Melawach, lentil soup, and soy chocolate mousse.
