Thu Mar 24 13:16:39 -0800 2005 1430819 0 JBS 1 1430826 i love the stuff that is not quite as dried and is generally from alaska - kind of long, long strips of a more moist/dried wild salmon. meaty jerky. delicious. but i've never seen it in nyc...anything i've tried here, like at wild edibles - has been very salty, very dry and not particularly tasty. there are websites that the other kind can be ordered from - if that's what you're looking for. post here and i'll look up some highly rec sites that i've gotten from chowhound over the years. i've been lucky enough to have a friend that goes salmon fishing in alaska and usually brings me a bit but my craving is now reborn and i may have to order myself.
