Basically I am looking for: a nicish restaurant, but not too pricy. nothing too fancy where we have to really dress up any kind of cuisine is fine.. thai, italian, chinese etc. I realize this is a vague request, but we just want to have a decent evening. The servers are pros. it's their day job, not something to do while they wait for the big break. But it's quite traditional. Not at all a scene, nothing cutting edge, no great culinary adventures. Southern Italian cooking: pasta, roast chicken, good wine choices. I'm not sure about the "not too pricey" part. That's all relative. I think you could probably have a fine meal there for about $30 a person. It's small, so I would recommend a reservation.
