Cinnamon swirl bread

Does anyone know a Manhattan bakery that makes cinnamon swirl bread (raisins not necessary, but okay) that is sold unsliced? My ideal has a thick layer of gooey cinnamon in the swirl, but I'm just looking for a good rendition.

  1. Orwasher's (on East 78th), just east of 2nd Avenue makes some wonderful old-fashioned breads, one being a cinnamon raisin walnut. Most breads there are unsliced and are sold by the pound. They're all lovely. The seven-grain raisin walnut loaf is also worth a try.
