Tlacoyas?

Does anybody know of a good place to get tlacoyas, a.k.a. tlatloyos? I have only had them from a street vendor in Oaxaca, but they were sublime. As far as I can tell they are a blue corn chalupa topped with mashed beans, nopales, salsa verde, and Oaxaqueno cheese, then fried.

Thanks!

Jacob

  1. Hello:
Los Dos Mexicanos on 9th Ave. and 37th or 38th has them; however, I think they're without Oaxacan-style string cheese and cactus. Very good, though.
