Indoor smokers

Has anyone used one of those smokers that you use in the oven? I saw one advertised and it looked too good to be true! You add wood chips, meat or fish, and smoke away. If I could get good results with one, I'd be a very happy cooker.

Found a great one, it is a pressure smoker. Sold by Hammacher Schlemmer catalog and now I also saw on QVC. Bought one, am amazed because it is so fast and works with a couple of wood chips. Also cold smokes. Really gourmet taste. Easy to clean, one of the best machines for the kitchen I ever purchased.

We've had a smoker for a couple of years and used it on the cooker top. Not used it in the oven. Nice results with fish and chicken. The wood chips permeate the apt for some time--not a problem if you like the smell. Simple to use and clean.
