You can also sample Indonesian stuff during the 9th avenue food festival, they have a lot of great satay stands then but I dont know where they go back to during the year. Mon Oct 23 14:57:22 -0700 2000 1417107 0 Jeremy Osner 4 1417112 i have eaten at bali nusa indah as it was (i thought) the only indonesian place in NYC and after being in Holland and inundated with yummy indonesian deliciousness, i NEEDED to find a place. i liked it ok...there were some interesting things on the 'rice table', but some dishes weren't great. i have since found another place in the park slope section of brooklyn called java. it's on 15th street and seventh avenue and has decent indonesian for pretty cheap. anyone else eaten there?
