My husband has decided that he would rather go to brunch then dinner for his birthday which falls on a Sunday. I do not know much about brunch spots in NY except for the local places. I was thinking about the Water Club, River Cafe or Verbena. Does anyone have any brunch info on these places...prices, menus, prix fixe, etc... Can anyone recommend anything else? I do appreciate the help.
I'm not sure what kind of atmosphere you are looking for in a brunch place, but I can recommend two great places. The first Cafe De Artistes (67th street b/w Columbys & CPW) and the second is Park Avenue Cafe (63rd b/w Lexington & Park). I went to both for special occasions and the food as well and the service were great. I'm not sure about the prices though.
If you go to Park Avenue Cafe, you must order the Park Bench for dessert!!
