Am looking for a restaurant which serves kidneys, grilled rare--not chopped up into little pieces and floating in a mysterious brown pond. Offal, I find, is pretty limited in New York. Any suggestions???
Toby, I saw Anthony Bourdain on TVFN's Extreme Cuisine and he was talking about offal, which he really enjoys preparing. Don't know if he does kidneys, but he said if two patrons requested brains, he'd put them on his menu. Now I love brains but, kidneys, even more. His restaurant is les Halles. You could plant some friends in the dining room and request kidneys! They're very easy to cook btw, and I like veal kidney the best. pat
