Hot Brandy Snaps

Been thinking alot about this incredible Brandy Snap dessert I used to order in a restaurant near 79th st in Miami, I think it was called Arthur's. They would take a large hot brandy snap and fill it with cold vanilla ice cream and put hot brandy carmelized fudge on top....hot with cold-brandy with gingery taste...oh man, it was too much!
Have never found it anywhere since....Anybody else ever had anything like this?

Never heard of it, never tried it, but your craving is now my craving. Gaaaaaaa............!
While looking for other recipes, I came across what you're looking for (I think). It will probably only be online for another couple weeks, so click & print!)
(Just in case the link doesn't work, I think you have to sign on to the site, go to www.marthstewart.com, click the television link from the home page and look for Nov. 22/cooking.
re: Rachel Perlow
Rachael...thanks for the picture..looks great...thanks so much for finding it...I will go and check it out...It's in the ballpark but you see how the brandy snap is formed into a lattice type basket...well the way I had them was where they were formed into a tube very much like a cannoli shape, and this brandy snap tube was hot, and the cold vanilla ice cream was stuffed inside, and then the hot choclate caramelized glaze was put all on the top of it. Probably the brandy snap itself wasn't hot, but it was the glaze that made me think it was hot...anyway,,,hands down my favorite dessert of all time.
