I love mousse, and can say that 90 percent of the time it´s never just right. I am from Australia and on holidays in Paris in 2 days time. We will be in the marais area... any suggestions of where we can find a 9.5 out of 10 dessert in this area ? Thanks Chowhounds.

at the corner of Rue des tournelles and rue saint-gille is the best you will ever have. I wish I could remember the name. also have a great Pernod shrimp dish.

My chocolate mousse (that everyone raves about!) comes from Chez La Vieille (Adrienne). Now that she's gone, I wonder if they are using the same recipe. Might be worth a stop to find out!

At L'Ambassade d'Auvergne, the chocolate mousse is wonderful, and you get an endless bowl of it. They literally stick a huge serving bowl of it on your table and you can help yourself to as much as you want.

The aligot (mashed potatoes with cheese) are also delish.
